Day 1: Arrival & Evening Game Drive

• Arrival at Tsavo National Park. Fly from Nairobi to the nearest airstrip (approximately 1-hour flight) or take a road transfer (about 4-5 hours by road).
• Transfer to your lodge or camp. Options include luxury properties like the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, Ashnil Aruba Lodge, or more intimate tented camps such as Satao Elerai Camp.
• Afternoon:
• Lunch at the lodge/camp. Afterward, relax and freshen up before your afternoon game drive.

Late Afternoon/Evening:

• Game Drive (3:30 PM – 6:30 PM): Set off on your first game drive in Tsavo East or Tsavo West. Tsavo is famous for its large elephant herds, as well as lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Keep an eye out for the famous “maneless lions” of Tsavo, which are a unique feature of the park.

• Check-out and transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi or begin your road transfer.
